Members of the 1984th partnered with the Malaysian Army and the local community Sep 21, in one of two medical civil action programs that are part of Keris Strike 2011, a bilateral exercise with the Malaysian Army that focuses on strengthening ties and increasing interoperability.

This exercise marks the 15th iteration of this regionally significant training event that focuses on peace support operations and includes a multilateral force headquarters computer-enhanced command post exercise, medical civic actions project and combat lifesaver training.
