Biography: Dravannti Johnson is an aggressive and relentless strong side linebacker that flies around the football field. He has a good first step and is an active pass rusher. Johnson can fight through blocks and chase down the play, and he never quits. He has a high motor and is always on the prowl. Johnson is perhaps at his best in pursuit, using his speed and quickness to run down the ball-carrier. Statistical/Personal: As a junior, Johnson racked up 81 tackles, five sacks, six tackles for a loss and six forced fumbles to earn All-District, All-Southeast Texas, and Super Gold Team honors. Johnson was also named All-District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore, recording over 90 tackles and four sacks. His father, Derrick Johnson, played at Texas Tech.
