C4ISR CoE meets BRAC deadline, celebrates arrival of last moving truck to APG
Contractors unload the last truck to leave Fort Monmouth and arrive to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., Sept. 1, 2011, signifying the completion of the Base Realignment and Closure move from New Jersey to Maryland.

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. -- Aberdeen Proving Ground, the Army's new home of Army technology, will mark its completion of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure implementation Sept. 15 during a BRAC Completion ceremony at Fanshaw Field at 8:30 a.m.

At 11 a.m., following the ceremony, the C4ISR Materiel Enterprise will bring closure to their massive relocation from New Jersey, with a C4ISR Center of Excellence Campus Dedication Ceremony. This ceremony will highlight the tradition of C4ISR excellence and celebrate the new future of C4ISR at APG.

C4ISR Materiel Enterprise partners will exhibit a variety of Army communications equipment and technology to include: Joint Tactical Radio Systems; the Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (MARRS); SMART-T; and Light-weight Counter Mortar Radar systems among other technological capabilities on display.
