Servicemembers and civilians participate in th Let Freedom Ring 5k run/walk at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Sept. 10. The run/walk is a part of the Service and Remembrance weekend, which gives Third Army personnel a chance to pay homage to the individuals killed during the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and honors those currently serving the U.S. throughout the world. Events of the weekend, which include a moment of silence and ecumenical church service, all in efforts to remember the sacrifice, celebrate the present and build hope for the future.
