Johnson meets volunteers helping with clean up efforts

DONGDUCHEON, South Korea - Following the record-breaking rainfall and the mudslides that followed in South Korea, the Eighth Army commanding general visited here to view clean up efforts in the community outside of Camp Casey.

Eighth Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. John D. Johnson visited the area where U.S. Soldiers from the 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team were volunteering to help.

Nearly 450 Iron Brigade Soldiers assisted the Republic of Korea Army, Korean National Police and numerous relief agencies and volunteers with clean up efforts.
