Installation retirement services offices can order a newly redesigned Retiree Commendation Packet from the U.S. Army Installation Management Command G1 Military Personnel Division beginning Aug. 1.

The reconfigured packet contains a United States flag in honor of the retiree's service, an Army Strong video, a retirement pin and decals. The redesign fits all items in a single box. Installations issue the packets to retiring Soldiers.

RSOs will also be able to order custom packets containing all of the items above plus a personalized letter signed by the Sergeant Major of the Army, the Army Chief of Staff, and the Secretary of the Army.

A new Web site for RSOs, http://www.myarmyrso.com, will allow online packet ordering and offer other program information. The site is scheduled to open August 15. Former users of the Retirement Services Initiative web site will need to create a new registration at the new website.

Until the site opens, RSOs can order this new packet from the IMCOM HQ G1 Military Personnel Division by calling (210) 466-0332.
