Pacific Armies Management Seminar XXXV held at Singapore

SINGAPORE - Brig. Gen. Yeo See Peng, commander of 6th Division Singapore Armed Forces presents Lt. Gen. Francis Wiercinski, commander of U.S. Army Pacific a gift July 28, during Pacific Armies Management Seminar XXXV held at Singapore during an ice breaker.

PAMS is a multinational military seminar that provides a forum for senior-level officers from the Asia Pacific regional ground forces to exchange views and ideas. It provides opportunities for future leaders of regional armies to develop strong interpersonal relationships.

The theme for PAMSXXXV is Building Land Forces Capacity through Multilateral Security Cooperation.

PAMS is the United States Army’s largest Asia-Pacific Theater Security Cooperation Program event.

PAMS seminars have been held since 1978 in Honolulu, Auckland, Bangkok, Calgary, Dhaka, Manila, Nadi, New Delhi, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Santiago. Singapore first attended PAMS in 1997.
