FORT LEE, Va. - Col. Aimee L. Kominiak received the unit colors from Brig. Gen. Gwen Bingham, Quartermaster School commandant, to signify her acceptance as commanding officer, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade July 21. Kominiak replaces outgoing commander Col. Johnny W. Sokolosky. The 23d Quartermaster Brigade trains over 23,000 students annually, consisting of enlisted personnel from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force, as well as foreign countries.
