Bilderback who is actually a medical officer by trade, said she enjoys participating in the CMEs. The day's event involved the coordinated efforts of the 3rd Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division and the Fires "Hell" Squadron, 2nd "Stryker" Cavalry Regiment.

The CME which resulted in more than 250 patients being treated for minor ailments, involved the joint efforts of medical professionals from the 3rd Bde., 6th IA Div. and the Fires "Hell" Squadron, 2nd "Stryker" Cavalry Regiment. A medic from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade also participated in the event.

The event was coordinated by medical professionals from the Fires "Hell" Squadron, 2nd "Stryker" Cavalry Regiment and the 3rd Bde., 6th IA Div. During the event, patients were seen for minor maladies to include colds, headaches, minor burns and skin conditions. Major medical conditions were referred to the Iraqi Medical Assistance program which is an Iraqi government-run program allowing patients with conditions that may require surgery to seek care at a hospital in Iraq or a neighboring country.

The Fires "Hell" Squadron, 2nd "Stryker" Cavalry Regiment and medical professionals from the 3rd Bde., 6th IA Div. coordinated together to bring the event to the village. Over the course of the day approximately 250 patients were seen at the make-shift clinic which was set up at a Fira Shia elementary school.
