First Mobility Warrant Officer Course Graduates At Fort Lee
FORT LEE, Va. - The first Transportation School Mobility Warrant Officer Basic Course to be held here graduated May 24.

FORT LEE, Va. " The first Transportation School Mobility Warrant Officer Basic Course to be held here graduated May 24. Friends and family members were on hand to observe the ceremony as the 24 new warrant officers marched across the stage.

“You are part of something special, a proud tradition with a successful track record that continues to make a huge impact supporting full spectrum operations,” said Col. Stephen E. Farmen, Transportation School commandant, to the graduating students. “Now, it is your time to continue this legacy of excellence and take it up a notch to the next level.”

The 19-week course prepares students to perform critical deployment tasks at the joint, theater, corps, division and brigade levels. As the students progress through the course, they go from understanding the overarching planning and execution principles, to building their individual and collective technical expertise. The culmination of this training is an intense and comprehensive exercise that places them in challenging and realistic roles at various levels in the deployment process.
