ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- With the bang of a cannon, the Rock Island Arsenal Armed Forces Day parade kicked off at noon May 22. The parade was only one aspect of the Open House at which entire families learned about their neighbor, Army Sustainment Command, and Rock Island Arsenal's many contributions to the military and its missions around the globe.
