Hunter community prays together, stays together during National Day of Prayer
HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, Ga. - Chaplain (Lt. Col.) John Molina, Hunter Garrison chaplain, prays during a National Day of Prayer ceremony outside Hunter Army Airfield's Garrison Headquarters building on May 5. Other chaplains who participated in the ceremony included Chaplain (Capt.) Pat Van Durme, 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment; Chaplain (Capt.) David Arthur, 1st Bn., 3rd Aviation Regiment; Chaplain (Capt.) Chris Campbell, 1st Bn., 3rd Aviation Regiment; Chaplain (Capt.) John Monahan, 603rd Aviation Support Bn.; Chaplain (Maj.) Grace Hollis-Taylor, 3rd Aviation Brigade. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held across the nation on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. The observance exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America's leaders and its Families.
