It's Twilight Tattoo Season at Fort McNair!
Soldiers from The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" participate in the final rehearsal of the 2011 Twilight Tattoo, May 3, 2011. Twilight Tattoo is a free, interactive, high-energy performance meant to rekindle the patriotic spirit of all Americans and visitors to this country; educating audiences about the history, role and traditions of the United States Army. The 2011 Twilight Tattoo performances at Fort McNair this year are at 7 p.m., Wednesdays, on May 11, 25; June 1 and June 8.

Twilight Tattoo tonight, May 11, at Fort McNair, D.C. The show is open and free to the public. Future shows at Fort McNair will be Wednesdays on May 25; June 1 and June 8.

The Twilight Tattoo is produced by the Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region and the U.S. Army Military District of Washington and is an hour-long military pageant featuring Soldiers from The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own." Experience a glimpse into American history through performances by The U.S. Army Blues, vocalists from The U.S. Army Band Downrange, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and The U.S. Army Drill Team. This performance is free and open to the public. Bleacher seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
