Employees are encouraged to contact their first line supervisor with questions or issues.
All matrixed/co-located personnel will report based on the status of their supported organization.
For Thursday, May 5, Redstone Arsenal is closed except for the following organizations and areas:
Aca,!Ac The entire Sparkman Complex to include the Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM) and Logistics Support Activity (LOGSA) are open and operational. All AMCOM employees are authorized liberal leave.
Aca,!Ac The Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) located in the Sparkman Complex is key and mission essential only.
Aca,!Ac The Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) is open and operational. Supervisors are authorized to grant leave for those affected by the storm.
Aca,!Ac The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is open. All MDA employees who work on Redstone and in other MDA-controlled buildings in Huntsville should report to work at their normal duty hours tomorrow.
Aca,!Ac The Garrison-Redstone is open and operational. All personnel report to work at their regularly scheduled time.
Aca,!Ac The Army Audit Agency (AAA) is open and operational.
Aca,!Ac Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space employees should contact their supervisors to determine if they should report to duty.
Aca,!Ac Program Executive Office, Aviation is operating with key and mission essential personnel only. PEO Aviation employees should contact their supervisors to determine if they should report to duty.
Aca,!Ac The Redstone Test Center at the 8716 and 4500 campuses and Test Area 5 are open and operational. All employees should contact their supervisor to ensure their status.
Aca,!Ac Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center in the 4500 area (also known as the Shelby Center for Missile Intelligence) is open. All personnel who work in this facility should report to work at their regularly scheduled time.
Aca,!Ac Buildings in the 3000 area east of Vincent Road and north of Neal Road, commonly known as the "OMEMS/Schoolhouse Area" have power. Individuals employed in this area should contact their supervisor for their work status.
Aca,!Ac HQ Army Contracting Command/HQ Expeditionary Contracting Command (ACC/ECC) is fully operational and employees are authorized liberal leave.
Aca,!Ac Headquarters US Army Materiel Command (AMC) is open. All personnel report to work at their regularly scheduled time.
Marshall Space Flight Center will remain closed on Thursday except for mission essential personnel. NASA/Marshall employees will return to work when the entire Marshall Center has power restored. Marshall will continue to provide daily updates to the workforce on status through employee email, websites, Facebook and Twitter, and the news media.
All Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) personnel working in the Huntsville-Redstone Arsenal area are on Administrative Leave until contacted by their supervisor and told to report to work.
There are many other organizations on the installation that have received power that are not listed specifically. If you have questions or concerns as to whether you need to report to work please contact your supervisor.
Contract employees please check with your contracting company for further directions from your leadership.
All Redstone Arsenal Childcare is open to include Child Development Centers on Goss and Mills Roads and Child and Youth School Services. All childcare services will operate under normal operating hours.
Food service on the installation is limited. Individuals that must report to work are encouraged to plan ahead for meals.
The installation remains accessible to basic life services to all authorized patrons.
Individuals affiliated with Redstone and have the appropriate credential to access the installation can go to the Firehouse Pub on Goss Road to get housing assistance.
