Army 10-Miler in Kosovo
More than 250 runners from 24 countries took part in the Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, version of the Army 10-Miler on Oct. 7. Cpl. Gerry Wercky, 36, from the Belgian contingent of the Kosovo Force, was the top finisher with a time of 1:00.22. Master Sgt. James Kotwicki, 38, of the 29th Infantry Division was the top U.S. finisher with a time of 1:07:02 and a 10th place finish overall. Approximately 1,500 U.S. Soldiers and Airmen are assigned to KFOR's Multi-National Task Force (East) at Camp Bondsteel for the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.
