AMC Chaplain speaks at CECOM's first prayer breakfast at APG
The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command hosted its first Prayer Breakfast March 16 at the Aberdeen Proving Ground-North Dining Facility. Maj. Gen. Randolph P. Strong, CECOM commander, prefaced the guest speaker's introductions with devotional scripture readings from the books Psalm and Matthew. Chaplain Lt. Col. Steven Jerles welcomed guest speaker Chaplain Col. Michael Coffey, Army Materiel Command Chaplain who delivered a sermon on 'growing while waiting' and how God never grows weary when it comes to being there for His people, at work and at home. Strong presented Coffey with a commander's coin as a token of appreciation for participating in the CECOM's first prayer breakfast at APG.
