APG pauses for prayer
Aberdeen Proving Ground community members pray for Soldiers and the nation during the National Prayer Breakfast event at the APG North recreation center Feb. 10. The event featured remarks by USAGAPG Commander Col. Orlando Ortiz and installation chaplain Col. Orman Boyd. The event also featured gypsy jazz, a unique style of music significant to Boyd, who discovered this musical genre during a difficult time in his life. "This music gave me a spiritual experience," he said. Boyd challenged attendees to find spiritual meaning in their everyday life.
