FORT McPHERSON, Ga. (Feb. 4, 2011) - (Left to right) Gen. James D. Thurman, U.S. Army Forces Command's Commanding General, presents Samuel Seetin with the Army's Longevity Award for 50 years of civilian service to the U.S. Army during a ceremony at FORSCOM headquarters today. Seetin, G-4 Aviation and Electronic Branch chief, is accompanied by his granddaughter, Shanler; and wife, Bunny. Seetin first began work at FORSCOM in 2004 and will be continuing his Federal civilian service with FORCOM at Fort Bragg, N.C., when the headquarters relocates there latter this year. "We are truly grateful for your sacrifice for our Army and this great country," Thurman said. "I mean it when I say that you are a hero."
