Hertling, Postnikov-Streltsov
Lt. Gen. Mark P. Hertling, deputy commanding general for Initial Military Training, provides an orientation of Fort Monroe from the balcony of the historic Chamberlin Hotel to General-Colonel Aleksandr Postnikov-Streltsov, commander-in-chief of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, Dec. 19, 2010. Concluding the orientation, Postnikov-Streltsov attended an office call visit with Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, TRADOC commanding general. Hertling then provided an overview of IMT and hosted a lunch for Postnikov-Streltsov and other members of his delegation. Postnikov-Streltsov, the Russian Federation equivalent of Army Chief of Staff Gen. George W. Casey, was visiting a number of commands across the country at Casey's invitation under the auspices of the Chief of Staff of the Army Counterpart Visit Program.
