Join military volunteers Jan. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in a community service project for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Leckie Elementary School, 4201 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., SW, Washington, DC 20020. Volunteers will paint classrooms and halls, and organize a storage room, which will provide a brighter environment for students.
