TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT, Pa. - About 300 people attended the depot tree lighting ceremony and Child and Youth Services holiday party.

Guests were treated to a dinner buffet and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each child received a book, blanket, hat, coloring book and crayons. Depot commander Col. Charles Gibson was the guest speaker at the ceremony before helping the children light the 20-foot tree.

"This is a special time of year, a season of light devoted to the everlasting hope for peace on Earth and good will to all," Gibson said. "Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for what you do every day for our warfighters and their families."
