• CORAOPOLIS, Pa. -- Brig. Gen. Peter S. Lennon, Com-mander, 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, at-taches a streamer to the unit flag of the 305th Military History Detachment in recognition of the Meritorious Unit Citation during Family Day here Dec. 18. Family Day was a combina-tion holiday celebration and awards presentation for Soldiers of the 316th ESC. The 305th MHD is a subordinate unit of the 316th ESC which has deployed to multiple combat zones. The 305th MHD also received the Reserve Officer Associa-tion Outstanding U.S. Army Reserve Small Unit Award to rec-ognize their outstanding service throughout the years. The unit was also recognized for their deployment to Afghanistan from 2006 thru 2008. The unit is being recognized for pro-ducing the first historical documentation of Operation Endur-ing Freedom.
