FORT KNOX, Ky. (Dec. 20, 2010) - Due to the base realignment and closure, or BRAC process mandated by Congress in 2005, the U.S. Army Human Resources Command's three main sites have consolidated at Fort Knox, Ky.

HRC-St. Louis and its Human Resources Contact Center will permanently close Dec. 22 at noon.

As a result, the HRCC at the Federal Records Center in Overland, Mo., will no longer provide ID card service or common access card service using the Defense Enrollment and Eligibility Reporting System's Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System, commonly known as DEERS/RAPIDS.

However, Army employees, Soldiers and their family members, as well as veterans in the St. Louis area, can be served at one of the following ID card sites:

* DEERS Customer Service, Scott Air Force Base, Ill

* 157th Air Operations Group, St. Louis, Mo.

* Air National Guard, Bridgeton, Mo.

* Navy Operation Support Center, Bridgeton, Mo.

* Integrated Support Command, 1222 Spruce St. , St. Louis, Mo.

Questions can be addressed to the DEERS/RAPIDS Project Office at (502) 613-8469 or at terence.henry@us.army.mil, or the chief of the Entitlements Branch and deputy project officer, Terry Rowles, at (502) 613-8461 or at terry.rowles@us.army.mil.
