U.S. Army Brass Quintet does gig on Today Show

The U.S. Army Brass Quintet broke the confines of the Washington, DC Beltway and traveled to New York City to perform a series of concerts in honor of Veterans Day. In addition to performing at one of New York CityAca,!a,,cs leading music conservatories, the Manhattan School of Music, the group performed at the historic Trinity Church on Wall Street, and made a special appearance on NBCAca,!a,,cs Today Show.
After a pre-dawn sound check on a brisk autumn morning, the group performed several Aca,!A"bumpsAca,!A? (music interludes that take place after commercial breaks as the program resumes) to both the national broadcast audience as well as hundreds of cheering fans on the plaza at 30 Rockefeller Center. Following the appearance, the group was greeted by Today Show hosts Matt Lauer and Anne Curry who thanked them for their performance and for their service to the country.
