208th Trumpeters
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Timothy Lyden (right) and Sergeant 1st Class Curtis Boot, from the 208th Army Reserve band, perform for a group of students at the Prosperity-Rikard Elementary school in Prosperity, S.C. The school hosted a Veterans Day program on Nov. 11 and the band performed patriotic selections for over 250 people from around the community. In his military capacity Lyden is the band director but in his civilian job, he is the school's principal. The 81st RSC provides base operations (BASOPS) support and other services as directed by HQs, U.S. Army Reserve Command to customers in nine southeastern states and Puerto Rico, to enable the Army Reserve to meet global requirements across the full spectrum of operations.
