AMC to showcase advancements in logistics and acquisition at AUSA annual meeting

AMC EXHIBIT BOOTH
The U.S. Army Materiel Command will showcase a wide variety of improvements and emerging technologies in logistics and acquisition at the Association of the U.S. Army's annual meeting and exposition at the Washington Convention Center Oct. 25-27.
Located in exhibit booth 1524, AMC will feature 18 displays from its ten subordinate commands including a 3-D cave environment, the Kiowa Warrior M3P machine gun, vehicle and crew survivability enhancements, condition-based maintenance, and new innovations in camouflage.
AMC SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
MONDAY, OCT. 25
ROTC LUNCHEON: Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, AMC's commanding general, will talk with cadets about the opportunities of Army service during this event from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Renaissance Ballroom, Renaissance Hotel.
WARRIOR'S CORNER: Col. Robert Sullivan, commander of AMC's Logistics Support Activity, will discuss LOGSA's role in providing critical logistics data and analysis from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. in the U.S. Army exhibit booth.
PANEL: "United States Army Special Operations Forces: Integral to the Army and the Joint Force" Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey Mellinger, AMC's command sergeant major, will be a panelist to discuss his experiences with the special operations command during this event from 2 to 4 p.m. in room 151B.
TUESDAY, OCT. 26
WARRIOR'S CORNER: Col. Daniel Mitchell, commander of AMC's Red River Army Depot, will discuss the depot's mission and capabilities, focusing on Reset and its in-theater support from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the U.S. Army exhibit booth.
PANEL: "Modernizing the Army in an Era of Constrained Resources" Lt. Gen. James Pillsbury, AMC's deputy commanding general, will be a panelist to discuss materiel integration and how to introduce modernization in the Army Forces Generation model from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in room 202A.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 27
PANEL: "Army Logistics - Always There, Always Ready - Today and Tomorrow" Lt. Gen. James Pillsbury, AMC's deputy commanding general, will co-host a panel to discuss current Army logistics initiatives from 8 to 10 a.m. in room 202A.
PANEL: "Readiness at Best Value: Leading and Managing the Army Enterprise" Teresa Gerton, AMC's executive deputy to the commanding general, will be a panelist to discuss the Materiel Enterprise from 2 to 4 p.m. in room 202B.
