Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation
From left, Stacie Beard, a prevention specialist for Harford County's Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center, Col. Orlando W. Ortiz, APG Garrison and Deputy Installation Commander, and Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Rodney Rhoades sign the Domestic Violence Awareness Month proclamation on Oct. 1. The Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program will host activities on APG to raise awareness during the month of October. "I am thrilled that we (SARC) are partnering with this installation to raise awareness of domestic violence and the resources available both on base and off," Beard said. "Domestic violence affects more than just the victim - it affects the Family, the workplace, and the community at large."
