Col. Deborah B. Grays, U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) commander, speaks to members of the Georgia Department of Education (GDOE) Aug. 18 during a recognition ceremony at GDOE headquarters. Grays and Command Sgt. Maj. Karl Roberts, USAG command sergeant major, participated in the ceremony to thank the GDOE for their support to Soldiers and their Families throughout the years. Grays also presented the GDOE's new superintendent, William Bradley Bryant, with a certificate of appreciation for his support. Other representatives, including administrators from Atlanta Public Schools, Cobb County Schools, Fulton County Schools and Henry County Schools, received Freedom Team Salute packets.
