Army Contracting Command's Armyhire.com honored with Award of Distinction

Armyhire.com, Army Contracting Command's commercial recruiting Web site, recently received an Award of Distinction in two categories, best interactive employment Web site and best interactive government Web site, from the International Academy of the Visual Arts at the16th Annual Communicator Awards.
"We are honored to win this award which recognizes the hard work, focus, and collaborative nature of team ACC. An effort like this is only accomplished with the combined efforts of our content owners, content managers, and web support team," said Chief Information Officer, Gino Magnifico. "Truly, this reflects the pride and professionalism of this command and the people who populate it. This, like most awards, is a true team effort and as such we share this honor with the entire ACC team."

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing creative excellence in the field of communications. It is an annual competition honoring the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio. This year there were over 7,000 entries.

Prior to this award, Army Contracting Command won a social media award for use of LinkedIn to increase the number of job applicants through Armyhire.com. LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking Internet site with more than 67 million registered users worldwide.
