The Stability Transition Team, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, hosted a dinner meeting for the 10th Iraqi Army Division commander and staff at Contingency Operating Site Garry Owen April 29, 2010.

The dinner was held to support cooperation between the two partners in their goal to develop the Iraqi division's overall capacity and capability in improving security in Dhi Qar, Maysan and Muthanna provinces.

The event consisted of an icebreaker with various beverages, followed by a meal of American and Middle Eastern dishes. All the food was prepared by STT officers, noncommissioned officers and linguists.

The dinner was followed by dessert and tea to round out the evening.

Both sides agreed that the event was an excellent opportunity to further build U.S. and Iraqi relations.
