REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - On May 11, Lt. Gen. Kevin T. Campbell, commanding general, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, completed his final Army Physical Fitness Test before retirement.

Campbell, who has served almost 37 years, exceeded his requirements on all aspects of the test, which consists of push-ups, sit-ups and a timed two-mile run, by scoring more than 100 points in each event.

Staff Sgt. Nicholas Race, training noncommissioned officer, and Sgt. 1st Class Teresa Bozeman, field first sergeant, assisted in administering the test. Both agree that Campbell is a great role model for all at Redstone Arsenal.

"It's great that he still has that dedication especially as a senior leader who is retiring soon," said Race.

"He always does well," Bozeman added. That's just his standard. He always has high expectations. He leads from the front and sets the example. He's very dedicated and doesn't detour."
