Fort Rucker DFMWR facilities offer food, activities for Easter

FORT RUCKER, Ala. -- Families can find plenty of ways to celebrate Easter Sunday.
The Landing is offering a special Easter Breakfast and Brunch on Easter Sunday.
Hosted by The Landing and The Landing Zone staff, this year's feast will be a dining experience for the entire Family.
Early risers can enjoy a traditional breakfast buffet at The Landing Zone from 8 to 9 a.m. For those looking for brunch, The Landing is providing their brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons receive an additional 10 percent off if they bring a bulletin from any Easter church service.
"The Landing and The Landing Zone are happy to invite all military Families to join us for great food and a good time," said Stephen Peacock, The Landing business operations manager. "We are proud to be a part of your Easter Sunday and hope to see you at The Landing."
An appearance by the Easter bunny should be a special treat and surprise for children. Free photos with the Easter bunny is a special gift The Landing staff is offering their young patrons at the breakfast and brunch events.
Diners can enjoy traditional breakfast items such as waffles, scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, bacon and fresh fruit. For brunch, diners can feast on the traditional breakfast items along with fried chicken, carved ham and beef along with a smorgasbord of side dishes and desserts.
Breakfast costs $9.95 for ages 13 and older, $4.95 for ages 6-12, $1.95 for ages 3-5, and is free for children ages 2 and under. Brunch costs $16.95 for ages 13 and older, $8.95 for ages 6-12, $3.95 for ages 3-5, and is free for children ages 2 and under.

For other holiday activities, such as bowling, Rucker Lanes is open from 1 to 6 p.m. and can be reached at 255-9503.
Avid golfers can tee off at Silver Wings Golf Course beginning at 7 a.m. and play until dark. SWGC's Divots Restaurant and Grille is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 598-2449.
