ARLINGTON, Va. - Retired Lt. Gen. Larry J. Dodgen, a former commanding general of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery March 11. Lt. Gen. Dodgen, 60, died of an apparent heart attack while playing tennis Feb. 20. He retired from the Army in January 2007 after more than 34 years service. After retiring from the Army, Dodgen went to work for Northrop Grumman Corporation as the Corporate Lead Execitive in Huntsville, Ala.
