Charles Moss, a visual information specialist with the Fort McPherson Training and Support Center, speaks with Atlanta school children about his art work and the power art can have in telling a story. Moss, an Army veteran, draws much of his inspiration for his art from his life growing up in the 1950s during the end of segregation. Moss' art was featured prominently at the Fort McPherson Black History Month celebration Feb. 5 at The Commons at Fort McPherson. His art has also been viewed and signed by notable black leaders, such as political activist Rev. Jesse Jackson, former U.S. House of Representatives congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and the mothers of rappers Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace.
