Redstone Arsenal, Ala. - The Equal Employment Opportunity office at U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command invite all personnel to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday with a program featuring a guest speaker on Jan. 14 at 1:30 p.m. in room 5014 at USASMDC/ARSTRAT's Huntsville headquarters.

This year's theme is "Remember! Celebrate! Act! A Day On, Not a Day Off," and the guest speaker will be Dr. Oscar Montgomery, pastor at Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church in Huntsville. Dr. Montgomery is a former professor at Alabama A&M University.

USASMDC/ARSTRAT leadership encourages employee attendance at this event.

"Observances like these make us understand one another better; I encourage your participation," Col. Kendal Cunningham, USASMDC/ARSTRAT chief of staff, told personnel today.
