Seasons Greetings!

As we approach the end of another rewarding year of service to this great country of ours, my wife Deanie and I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Holidays.

During the last twelve months, it has been our great pleasure to become acquainted with the people of Fort Monroe and to call the Hampton Roads area our home. We have come to know and appreciate your dedication and the strong sense of teamwork that are the hallmarks of our Army and this great community.

IAca,!a,,cm honored to be a part of such a dynamic and professional team of teams. I look forward to working with each and every one of you in the coming year to accomplish great things for our Soldiers, our Army, and our Nation.

Throughout your Holiday celebrations and traditions, IAca,!a,,cd ask that you take a moment to reflect on those that have given the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the freedoms that weAca,!a,,cll enjoy during this holiday season. We must never forget their sacrifices, and I will always remain humbled by those who continue to serve our Army in this time of war.

Thanks for everything you do for our Army and our Nation. Deanie and I wish all of you and your families the very best for a safe and joyous Holiday season and a Happy New Year.

Martin E. Dempsey
