  • Children in the Fort McPherson Child Care Center Preschool 3 class enjoy a meal in their classroom as a pre-Thanksgiving celebration. The children's parents were invited to dine with them and enjoy food, such as turkey, ham, rice, stuffing, green beans, sweet potatos and fresh rolls. Desserts, which included apple and pumpkin pies, were also offered. After their bellies were full, the students showed off their homemade turkey costumes and put on a Thanksgiving Day skit for their parents

Soldiers, Civilian employees and Family members throughout Fort McPherson celebrated Thanksgiving early Nov. 20.

Throughout the installation, turkeys were cooked and consumed, and good times were shared as memories were made.
