  • Brigadier Chris Murray, Director, Royal Logistic Corps, steers the Large Tug 805, the Maj. Gen. Winfield Scott, as it leaves 3rd Port Thursday. Murray visited Fort Eustis, and 7th Sustainment Brigade, on behalf of the British Exchange program and to attend the presentation of the Bronze Star to fellow Royal Logistic Corps officer, Maj. Dominic Gosling, Plans and Operations British Exchange Officer, 7th Sustainment Brigade. Gosling was presented the Bronze Star for his exemplary service with the brigade during their 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09.

  • Brigadier Chris Murray, Royal Logistic Corps, blasts away on the .50-cal machine gun at the Transportation School Simulations Center Thursday afternoon. Murray toured the Simulations Center where he was shown the various instructional aids used to provide Soldiers realistic vessel, transport and weapons training. Murray spent the day with senior leaders of the 7th Sustainment Brigade as part of the British Officer Exchange Program and to attend the presentation of the Bronze Star to fellow British Officer Maj. Dominic Gosling. Regarding his visit and the shared mission of military logisticians Murray said, "The British Army is committed to this relationship. Fighting side-by-side, we are thrilled to see our brothers in arms."
