ESC Commander's Thanksgiving Message
Soldiers wait for chow during the Korean War, 1951.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

On behalf of the entire 3d Expeditionary Sustainment Command, I want to take this opportunity to wish you the warmest of Thanksgiving holidays.

As we gather on this National Holiday, we are all thankful for our Soldiers, friends and families, especially those that cannot be with us this year because they continue to fight and support the War on Terror.

While we give thanks for many things, we are most thankful for the freedom that makes our way of life possible.

Because I cannot personally thank each and every one of you for your service and support to our nation, and all of the things you do to preserve our freedom, I extend my deepest thanks and appreciate to all of you and thank you for making Thanksgiving a day of celebration that we as a country deserve.

So as you dine with your families, loved ones and or just a buddy, have a great meal and a wonderful Thanksgiving and be sure to thank all of our cooks and or our Spouses for their outstanding efforts today providing us with such a great meal!
