USASMDC/ARSTRAT women who continue to serve
November 10, 2009
Female veterans at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command continue to serve the armed forces.
Veterans feature prominently in the command's workforce. As of Aug. 30, there were 890 Department of the Army civilian employees working for the command -- of that 327 were veterans.
The combined total service of these 21 women pictured above -- who are all veterans -- is 311 years. They served the Army, Navy and Air Force, and their service spanned from the Vietnam-era up to Operation Eduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
A big "Thank You" to all veterans -- women and men -- who have served America.
