Maj. Gen. Fontaine starts the 12th annual Quad Cities Marathon
Maj. Gen. Yves Fontaine, commanding general, Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., starts the 12th annual Quad Cities Marathon in downtown Moline, Ill., Sept. 27. The 26.2-mile run starts and ends in downtown Moline, and covers five races, four cities, three bridges, two states and one island - the Army's Rock Island Arsenal. The marathon is a USATF (United States of America Track and Field) certified course and Boston Marathon qualifier. Fontaine assumed command Sept. 2.
