Soldiers receives many requests for information about how to subscribe to the magazine.
We publish the information each month on page two, but many readers don't see Soldiers on a regular basis, and aren't able to refer to past issues to find those details.
There are two ways to receive Soldiers-via a unit or an individual subscription.
For a unit subscription, Soldiers is distributed based on unit commanders' requirements. Commanders and publications officers can order Soldiers through the Army Publishing Directorate at https://ptclick.hqda.pentagon.mil (requires CAC authentication). To start or change your unit subscription, enter the Initial Distribution Number (IDN) 050007.
There are units who may have been dropped from the regular distribution list if they did not update their information with APD after a move or redesignation. To re-establish your subscription, please follow the directions for unit subscriptions.
Individual subscriptions can be purchased through the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., 20402, (202) 512-1800, or online at http://book-store.gpo.gov/collections/subscriptions/index.jsp at an annual cost of $46.
