Operation Restful Night

To welcome the 1st Infantry Division's 3rd Brigade Combat Team home from Afghanistan, J.C. Penney donated $95,000 of bed sheets and comforters to USO Fort Hood. Nearly 2,000 sheets were placed on the Soldiers' beds so they will have a comfortable place to rest upon their return. Store employees from Killeen and Temple, families of brigade soldiers, and local volunteers then decorated barracks rooms and created goody bags full of snacks and toiletries to leave in each room.
