<h4>Local Schools Sponsoring Events</h4>
<p>Local schools provide food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas for the Soldiers. They sponsor events at the school with soldier participation such as Celebrity Day, Principal for a day, Patriotic Musical Revues and Career Day.</p>
<h4>Local entertainment</h4>
<p>New Jersey Nets, New York Rangers, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Cyclones and the Staten Island Yankees provide tickets and free food for military families. The USO on post provides free tickets to shows, events and discount tickets to many local attractions.</p>
