Citizen Soldier Connection

The Citizen Soldier Connection (CSC) connects Ft. Carson Soldiers and their Families with volunteer citizens in the community for the purpose of providing a local support network for Soldiers and their Families. These connections include adopting families during deployments. Throughout the year, CSC hosts events to enhance these "connections" while enjoying a fun, social environment. Soldiers and military families and citizens are encouraged to attend. For more information or to find out how to get involved visit www.citizensoldierconnection.org.

El Pomar Foundation

With numerous military bases in Colorado Springs and Denver, El Pomar Foundation makes it a priority to find innovative ways to support service members and their families throughout Colorado. Support to military family members includes entertainment activities, fund-raisers, welcome home events and many other activities throughout the year. The Foundation also has partnerships with the USO, United Way, Military Child Education Coalition and other organizations who support the military financially. For more information, visit their web site to contact the military support director. www.elpomar.org.

Warrior Family Community Partnership (WFCP)

The mission of the Warrior Family Community Partnership (WFCP) is to integrate existing systems of support and services to Fort Carson Soldiers and their Families to assure an optimal quality of life while fulfilling their mission to our nation. The WFCP concept also serves the Greater Front Range Community by providing a forum and facility space for individuals and groups wishing to support Soldiers and Families with services, gifts, and volunteer activities. Part of WFCP concept is a civilian community council. The community council meets quarterly on Fort Carson with the purpose of getting an update on the program, providing feedback on the program as well as socializing with key Fort Carson leadership (both civilian and military).
