<h4>Fort Oregon Columbia County Network of Care for Veterans & Service Members</h4>

<p>The Fort Oregon Columbia County Network of Care for Veterans & Service Members is a community approach addressing the needs of returning veterans. It provides critical information for veterans, family members, employers, service providers, and the community at large. <h4>Military Spouse Residency Relief Act</h4>

<p>On November 11, 2009, the President signed into law the Military Spouse Residency Relief Act. This Act, among other things, provides that when a service member leaves his or her home State in accord with military or naval orders, the service member's spouse may retain residency in his or her home State for voting and tax purposes, after relocating from that State to accompany the service member. In the State of Oregon an exemption from Oregon withholding tax may be claimed if an employees spouse is a member of the US Armed Services and their state of legal residence is not Oregon. <h4> Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs</h4>

<p> The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs (ODVA) offers access to national and state programs and services for military, veterans, spouses, and their families living in Oregon. The ODVA provides a comprehensive set of veteran related links where additional support can be found. The Governor's Veterans' Task Force identified gaps in service delivery to veterans, made recommendations, and is taking action. <h4> Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund </h4>

<p> The Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund is for Soldiers and airmen of the Oregon National Guard and their immediate eligible family members who are in need of emergency financial assistance. <h4>Oregon Partnership's Military Helpline</h4>

<p>The Oregon Partnership Military Helpline bridges the access-to-service gap that military service members, veterans and their families face, helping veterans gain access to resources they deserve. This helpline is a part of the Oregon Partnership Crisis Lines which have been in operation for nearly two decades, offering 24-7 mental health crisis and suicide intervention, substance abuse crisis assistance, and services referral across the state. <p>The Oregon Reintegration Team provides post-mobilization support by establishing a centralized point of contact for the multitude of agencies that provide support and benefits to Soldiers and their Family members. <h4>Returning Veterans Project</h4>

<p>Returning Veterans Project is comprised of health care practitioners who offer free and confidential services to veterans and their families of the current Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns.
