SECKENHEIM, Germany - The 405th Army Field Support Brigade, currently headquartered at Hammonds Barracks in Seckenheim, has begun the relocation process for its headquarters to Kaiserslautern.

More than 10 personnel comprising an advance team have moved their positions to Kaiserslautern and are temporarily working at the headquarters of the 1/405th AFSB and the 21st Theater Sustainment Command until the renovation of the new brigade headquarters is complete.

The relocation of the brigade headquarters was announced earlier this year in support of the U.S. Army's Global Restructuring and Rebasing strategy. The entire brigade headquarters staff will relocate to Daener Kaserne by the end of the year.
