Committed to Excellence
Red River Army Depot has received many awards over the past few years. The men and women of the RRAD continue to keep the depot motto in the forefront: "Building as if our lives depend on it. Theirs do."

Congratulations to Red River Army Depot who was chosen as the winner of the 2009 Chief of Staff Logistics Excellence Award (CLEA) in the depot category. The CLEA is referred to as the "Army\'s best of the best" and recognizes units of various sizes for excellence in maintenance, deployment support and supply. Army Chief of Staff Gen. George Casey will host an awards banquet on the evening of June 2. Each year the awards are given in a ceremony that combines the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence (AAME), the Deployment Excellence Award (DEA), and the Supply Excellence Award (SEA). "You continue to impress everyone," said Depot Commander Col. Daniel Mitchell during a recent recording. Ninety-five units were chosen this year in 50 categories. Each unit represents logistics programs that are the best in the Army and have contributed significantly to Army readiness.
