C'mon in, we're open
Gabriella Morgan, 5, cuts the ribbon during the grand opening of the Fort Eustis Community Center May 13 with the help of (from left) Brad Collier, area project director, Balfour Beatty Communities; mom Chanel Morgan; Sgt. Maj. Dwayne B. Perry, regimental command sergeant major; and Col. Andy Bowes, Fort Eustis garrison commander. The ceremony marked the opening of the first brand new community center for Army Soldiers and families. Under construction for two years, the center features a community room, fitness center, game room, Internet cafe, a large playground, and a spray park. BBC plans to host regular activities and events for the community to include movie nights, exercise classes, and craft and educational classes. The center may also be reserved for residents' private events.
