SSG Anaselly Ramos Jorge - May 2009 NCO of the Year

Staff Sgt. Anaselly Ramos Jorge is an Automated Logistics Specialist, 1st Mission Support Command, Logistics Section.

She is a native of Calabazas, San SebastiAfA!n.

"I joined the military in July 1, 1998 when I was 19 years old," she said.

"I went to high school at the Manuel MAfAndez Liciaga in San Sebastian. Currently, I am finishing an Associates Degree in Pharmacy Technician."

"My Basic Training was at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and my AIT was at Fort Meade, Maryland where I was trained to be a 25M (Graphic Illustrator)," she said.

"(At) The time I became a NCO, I was station in Iraq, and to have my friends and leaders with me at that time was very exciting. For me, the Army is the way of citizens to defend the liberty of their nation, at the same time gives discipline to create leaders committed to our country. The NCO promotes professionalism, we train to help develop future leaders, and we enforce the standards."
